I began my blog as a travel log of my around the world trip in 2011. Visiting Singapore, Cambodia, Thailand, Greece, Italy, France, Spain, England, Scotland, Ireland, New York and Los Angeles.
Taking the time to visit and explore art, history, fashion and textiles of the world. I have now quit after 34 year teaching Art and Textiles (2 years at Caulfield Grammar and the 32 years at Star of the Sea Secondary College). I was so busy taking photos and uploading them to my laptop that iI did not have time to put any up on my blog!!!
2012 has me beginning my own sewing school (Sewgoodwthsue) where students of all ages can pick my brain and have a laugh and relax in a comfortable relaxed environment and learn the art of sewing.
Whether it’s to alter clothes or make something to suit their figure from scratch. It may be to create something ‘new’ from something ‘old’ or to make something creative and inspiring. My students can be sure I will offer them the best advice in achieving the best possible outcome.
I have really enjoyed the past couple of month’s getting my classes set up and meeting some lovely people who are enjoying themselves and learning to sew with me. I have been so busy that its been hard to find the time to get this blog going but I am going to try!
I was delighted that one of my lovely students sent me a message on face book
Happy Student feedback!!!
